hey there...somehow the system never notified us of your comment. Many apologies for the slow reply. We are no longer making kombucha but we used wine bottles and recycled corks without a problem. However, you will want to explore more, as we make no official recommendation for this.

I was told that bottling in wine bottles would make it explode. Is this true. Also do you use a regular cork or get a cap?
