I believe most of us who do not grow our own tomatoes have forgotten just what a "real" tomato tastes like. Fortunately, my neighbor rang my door bell the other day bearing a gift of an armful of his home grown tomatoes. The first thing that strikes you is the beautiful aroma of the tomato, rich in color and bursting with a wonderful flavor. Quite a difference from store bought tomatoes. I'm gorging myself daily on tomato sandwiches. What a wonderful gift from my neighbor and God.

Neighbors working together and sharing is always a wonderful gift!  Sadly, it is often something folks forget to do in modern life.  We are reworking the yard to give us a bigger garden next year.  Wish you were near.  ;>
